Veolia and CONSOL Energy to Build Zero Liquid Waste Discharge System

CONSOL Energy and Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies have entered into an agreement to design and build a zero liquid waste discharge system to treat mine water in the US state of West Virginia.
The facility will treat mine water from CONSOL Energys Blacksvillie #2, Loveridge and Robinson Run mines.
Both firms will operate and maintain the facility.
The final design will be completed within the next few months and construction will start in July.
The facility will be fully operational by May 2013.
